Working around children requires you to be always on and thinking ahead. During transitions, during fun activities, and everything in between. That's exactly why CPR and first aid readiness is so important.

We offer two main CPR training options. BLS for Healthcare Providers is for healthcare professionals and others who need provider-level CPR/BLS certification. Heartsaver CPR/AED is designed for the average person who does not work in healthcare.

An emergency can happen in seconds, and you are usually the first person on the scene. But it's not only children. Coworkers can face emergencies too and may require someone to step in and help.

Trouble doesn't discriminate against occupation, location, or convenience.

 

That's why knowing what to do can make all the difference.

Part of applying Behavior Excellence also includes knowing what to practically do when it comes to general safety and being prepared for the unexpected.

We are now offering local CPR and BLS training for our community, making it easier to find quality training close to home or work. Sometimes finding a CPR class that fits your schedule, location, and needs can be harder than it should be.

 

We wanted to provide a practical solution to a common need by offering convenient, hands-on training for healthcare professionals, ABA professionals, educators, caregivers, and community members. We keep our classes small so students have plenty of space to work with their manikins and equipment, while also allowing us to provide individual equipment whenever possible and thoroughly sanitize between students.

We also offer blended courses, allowing you to complete most of the training online and then come in for a short hands-on skills session with an instructor. If we are outside our current 15-mile service area, you can visit the American Heart Association website to search for other local training providers in your area.

Classes will generally be held locally in the 78741 area. At our location, your class can be made up of your group only, or you can join a mixed group to meet the minimum number of participants.

CLASS WILL BE RESCHEDULED if the minimum is not met 72 hours before the start of class but you'll be notified.

If your group meets the minimum and you choose to host at your own location, the class is exclusive to your group.

Your space will need adequate seating, room for hands-on training, and appropriate AV equipment such as a TV or projector. Reliable Wi-Fi is preferred, especially for blended courses.

Advance reservation is required, and a deposit is needed to reserve your date and time. The remaining payment is collected on the day of class.
